Teasers

A teaser is a wager where the bettor sacrifices payoff odds for the opportunity to adjust the side or total point spreads in his/her favor.

Heritage Sports offers 2 to 15 team teasers. The more teams you add to your teaser the higher the odds will pay off.

Like Parlays, a tie on a three or more team teaser will reduce the play to the next lowest teaser payoff odds.

However, with 2 team teasers, if there is a push then it is a NO ACTION bet, regardless if the other side is a winner or a loser.

Football teasers let you tease the point spread 6, 6 1/2 , or 7 points in your favor (with the exception of our 'Special Teasers'), while basketball teasers let you tease the point spread 4, 4 1/2 , or 5 points in your favor (with the exception of our 'Special Teasers').

You can also mix football & basketball in the teasers. This enables you to tease 4-5 points for basketball and 6-7 points for football all in the same teaser. You cannot mix the teaser points though. Therefore you cannot have a teaser that is 4 points for basketball and 6 1/2 points for football.

All our teasers will pay off at the same odds no matter whether the team is a College or Pro team with the exception of the 2 team teaser. Only 2 team PRO FOOTBALL teasers will pay differently than the other 2 team teasers.

Here are some examples:

College Football Teaser Examples:

• Colorado State -1      49
• Virginia            +1      49

Lets say you wanted to tease Virginia and the under 6 1/2 points. Virginia would now be +7 1/2 and the total would be changed from 49 to 55 1/2. Because this is a College teaser the player would lay $100.00 to win $100.00, or even money.

If you wanted Colorado State and the over in a 6 point teaser Colorado States adjusted line would be +5 and the totals adjusted line would be 43. Because it is a 6 point College teaser the player would lay $100.00 to win $100.00, or even money.

Pro Football Teaser Examples:

• San Diego Chargers   +4 1/2    40 1/2
• St. Louis Rams          -4 1/2    40 1/2

Lets say you wanted to tease the Chargers and the over 6 points. The Chargers would now be getting +10 1/2 and the total would be reduced to 34 1/2. With our Teaser rules for a 2 team 6 point PRO football teaser you would lay $110.00 to win $100.00.

What if you wanted the other sides, the Rams and the under for a 6 point teaser? Well, the Rams would now be +1 1/2 and the total would go up to 46 1/2. The player would still lay $110.00 to win $100.00.

If you wanted them in a 6 1/2 point teaser just add, or subtract, another 1/2 point from the already teased spreads above. Also, the player will now be laying $120.00 to win $100.00.

Pro and College Basket Teaser Examples:

• Los Angeles Lakers -9    210
• Orlando Magic        +9    210

If teased the Lakers and the over in a 5 point teaser the Lakers adjusted line would be -4 and the adjusted line on the over would be 205. The player would lay $120.00 to win $100.00.

College basketball has the same rules as Pro basketball.

Mixed Teaser Examples:

• Los Angeles Lakers   -9    210
• Orlando Magic         +9    210
• San Diego Chargers  +4 1/2    40 1/2
• St. Louis Rams        -4 1/2    40 1/2

If you wanted to tease the Lakers and the Chargers in a 4 and 6 point teaser the adjusted line on the Lakers would be -5 and the adjusted line on the Chargers would be +10 1/2 . The Lakers get adjusted 4 points and the Chargers get adjusted 6 points. Even though there is a Pro Football team in the teaser, the player will lay $100.00 to win $100.00 because it is a mixed teaser. This works with any of the above sports in any combination.

Special Teasers:

Heritage Sports also offers our players "Special Teasers". For football we have a 3 team 10 point teaser (8 points for Basketball), the odds are 12/10. We also offer a 4 team 13 pointer for Football (10 points for Basketball). The odds for these are 13/10. You can mix sides and totals from both Football and Basketball. Combinations of winners and ties are NO ACTION, a loss will be a loss.

3 TEAM SPECIAL - 10 POINT FOOTBALL TEASER (Basketball 8 points)
PLAYER LAYS 12/10 - 2 Winners and a Tie is NO ACTION

4 TEAM SPECIAL - 13 POINT FOOTBALL TEASER (Basketball 10 points)
PLAYER LAYS 13/10
- 3 Winners and a Tie is NO ACTION

YOU CAN ALSO TEASE TOTALS!

Baseball Teasers:

Heritage Sports introduces the new exclusive MLB Teasers - where you are given 1 1/2 runs to tease the total on a baseball game! The Teaser is considered a loss unless all selections win (a push is considered a loss). In the event of a game cancellation or a pitching change the Teaser will revert to the next lowest number of selections. If there is a loss with a cancellation or pitching change your Teaser is considered no action.
