Baseball Weekend Series Rules

Heritage Sports is now offering Weekend Series prices on the most important baseball match-ups. These prices will be ONLY on the 3 game Weekend Series ( Friday, Sat and Sunday.)

In order to have action, all 3 games games must be played on dates scheduled, all three games must be official and count in standings, and a win or loss must be recorded by MLB for action. If game is postponed, there is no action.

Weekend Series pricing applies only to Straight Bets.

Baseball First 5 Inning Rules

1. All wagers on the first five innings will be listed as such. There will be no exceptions.

2. A game does not have to go 9 complete innings, nor does a game need to be completed for the bet to be graded as the bet ONLY covers the first five innings. Whatever occurs after the first five innings is not relevant to the bet. If a game is called after six innings and the score is tied, that has no impact on the wager made for the first five innings

3. No parlays allowed.

4. All wagers on baseball first half’s or 5 innings will be decided on the basis of the score at the end of five full innings.

5. If a game does not go five full innings, all first-half wagers or 5 inning wagers will be canceled. If the game should be deemed officially over after only 4½ innings, all first half wagers will be considered "no action".

6. Once 5 full innings have been completed, all wagers on the first half (5 innings) will stand.

7. All first-half wagers (5 innings) must list both pitchers. If either listed pitcher does not start, all wagers on the first half (5 innings) will be canceled

Example:

RED SOX P.MARTINEZ -150 7 1/2 OVER -130
NEW YORK YANKEES E. LOAIZA +135 7 1/2 UNDER +110

Straight Plays On The Favorite:
To play the Red Sox you lay $150 to win every $100. The line on the favorite is always the amount you lay to win $100.

Straight Plays On The Underdog: To play the New York Yankees you put up $100 to win $135. The amount you win for $100 is usually the line on the favorite less 10. We use a 10 cent progressive baseball line.

Total Runs Over The Total: The total runs in a game are the sum of the final score for each team. To play on this game over the total you put up $130 to win every $100. This is because the over is the favorite.

Total Runs Under The Total:To play on this game under the total you put up $100 to win $110. The under here is the underdog. On totals when you play the opposite way of the favorite the amount you win for $100 is the favorite price less 20. Totals are always 20 cent lines.

Parlays: Parlays can be played team to team, or team to total. You can parlay up to 8 selections. The payoff on parlays depends on the lines of the selections in the parlay. You can also parlay between sports.

Types of Baseball Wagers:

Action:
You play this way when you want to play team versus team, regardless of who pitches. If one of the original pitchers listed does not start the game (throw the first pitch of the game, not counting warm-ups), there will be a new line and the price on your play will be automatically adjusted.

Example: Opening Line.

RED SOX P.MARTINEZ -150 NO TOTAL
NEW YORK YANKEES E. LOAIZA +135 NO TOTAL

If you play on the above game and E. Loaiza was changed to Mussina, the new line might be.

RED SOX P.MARTINEZ -135 NO TOTAL
NEW YORK YANKEES M. MUSSINA +125 NO TOTAL

If you played action your play would now be calculated at this adjusted price.

List One Pitcher: You play this way when you want to play on or against a specific pitcher. If the pitcher you specified does not start the game, you have "No Action". If the other pitcher listed does not start the game you still have action as long as the pitcher you specified goes.

List Both Pitchers: you play this way when you want both pitchers listed to start the game. If either or both pitchers do not start the game you have "No Action".

Totals And Runlines: When a bet is made on the total or runlines, both pitchers are automatically listed (both must start for action). This is the only way you can play totals and runlines.

Hockey

Heritage Sports uses a moneyline for Hockey wagers. For example:

NEW JERSEY DEVILS +100 5 1/2 OVER - 105
TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS -120 5 1/2 UNDER - 115

The game becomes official (action) after 55 minutes of play. Goals scored during overtime are included for wagers on the game, but are not included on wagers for the 3rd period.

If a game requires a shoot-out to determine the winner, One goal will be awarded to the winner for the final score (regardless of how many goals scored in the shoot-out) which will be recognized for the total goals scored as well as the winning team.

Game must be played on scheduled date and site.

Grand Salami: The Grand Salami will be decided by the total goals scored in all games scheduled in the given league for the given day. All scheduled games must play three full periods. If any scheduled game is canceled or stopped before three full periods are played, all wagers on the Grand Salami will be canceled.

Boxing

When the bell is sounded signifying the start of the opening round, the bout is considered official for wagering purposes. If the bout is officially stopped prior to the bell, that round is not considered a full round.

Wagering on boxing is done laying or taking money odds.
The minus (-) indicates the favorite.
The plus (+) indicates the underdog.

Example:

EVANDER HOYFIELD +145
MIKE TYSON -165

Player must lay $165 to win $100 on Tyson.
Player would wager $100 to win $145 on Holyfield.

In the event of a draw, all money on the fight itself will be refunded unless there is a draw proposition, in which case the draw would be a winner. If you bet Holyfield or Tyson, the bet would be a loser.

Round proposition will be governed by the rules posted on our wagering sheets or as stated at the time of the wager.

In the event that either fighters do not make the required weight but the fight goes on, the following stipulations apply: When the bell sounds for the first round, the bout will be considered official, regardless of the scheduled length or title. The bout must have the original scheduled length to have action on a rounds proposition. If the bout is judged a TKO, it is considered a KO for grading purposes.

Boxing Lines on All Major Title Fights

Straight money line betting as well as proposition bets on whether the fight, will go to a certain amount of rounds as predetermined on the day of the fight. Betting on Boxing until the sound of the bell for the first round.

Example:

Tyson -280 risk $280 to win $100 on Tyson
Holyfield +190 risk $100 to win $190 on Holyfield
Will go 4 1/2 rounds +150 risk $100 to win $150
Will not go 4 1/2 rounds -170 risk $170 to win $100

- 4 1/2 rounds means four full rounds and ninety seconds of the fifth round
-All results are official by the result of the governing body on the day of the fight.
- If a price is offered for a draw: in the event of a draw all bets on either boxer to win will be losers.
-In round by round betting: if a boxer fails to answer the bell, the fight will be deemed to have ended in the previous round.
-If the scheduled number of rounds is changed all "Pick the round" bets are void and bets refunded.
-All bets on either boxer to win will be decided by the judges decision, which includes points, Technical knockout (TKO), Knockout (KO) or disqualification.
-Where a match is abandoned or postponed, but fought within 14 days of the original scheduled date, all bets stand.

Once the 14 days have expired, all bets are void.

Nascar & Golf

Heritage Sports offers "to win it all" odds, as well as "match-ups" for both golf and nascar.

To win it all: This is selecting the winner of the tournament or race.

Example:

Tiger Woods to win the PGA Championship is -175. The player would lay $175 to win $100 on Tiger Woods to win the PGA Championship. Jeff Gordon is -150 to win the Brickyard 400. The player would lay $150 to win $100 on Jeff Gordon to win the Brickyard 400 race.

Golf match-up example:

Lee Janzen +155
Tiger Woods -175

The match-up is for the entire duration of the tournament. If one player withdraws before starting, then the bet is no action. If both players fail to make the cut, then their two day total score is used.

NASCAR match-up example:

Jeff Gordon -175
Mark Martin +155

The match-up is for the duration of the race. Both must start the race and complete 1 lap for the wager to be considered "action".

Tennis

Retirement or Disqualification:

Head to Head Matchups:

Two full sets must be completed for wagers to stand. Less than 2 sets completed - all wagers will be considered void. Example: Federer 6-3, 4-6, 2-0 (Nadal retired due to injury). All wagers stand. Federer declared the winner while Nadal is deemed the loser. Example: Federer 6-3, 2-0 (Nadal retired due to injury). All wagers considered void.

Sets Betting

If a tennis match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all Set wagers will be considered void. Such wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded.

Delay or Suspension

1. If a tennis match is completed, all wagers stand as written. A delay in the start of a match will not affect the standing of wagers, nor will a suspension, as long as play is resumed and the match completed.

2. In the event a match does not go the specified number of sets, and the match is shortened by tournament officials, the leader determined to be official by tournament officials shall be the winner.

Example: A match is scheduled for 5 sets, but only 3 sets can be played because of weather. The leader at the end of 3 sets would be declared the winner of the match.

Soccer

Money line wagering on soccer offers a draw line as well as both sides. In the event of a draw, example: (1-1), all bets on either of the sides will be graded as a loss. Again, in the event of a draw, only wagers placed on the draw line will be graded as a win. This rule does not apply to bets placed on the spread.

The result of the game is decided after 90 minutes of play plus injury time. Extra time, overtime or the golden goal is not taken into consideration for soccer bets unless otherwise stipulated.

If any match is abandoned or postponed, all bets will be void unless a relevant market result has already happened. For example, "first goal scored" betting will stand if a goal has already been scored.

Where a venue is changed, bets will stand unless the game is to be played at the original away team's home grounds in which case, all bets will be void.
